With over 7000 restaurants across 30 countries, Taco Bell has been expanding its presence in India. With a vision to establish the world’s largest Mexican cuisine-inspired food chain in India, it entered into a strategic partnership with Burman Hospitality and has till date opened more than 30 outlets across the country. 

Being a dynamic fast-food chain, Taco Bell India had been looking for an integrated technology partner to scale its operations. For a fast-food restaurant chain, quick service and optimized order management is crucial. Improving the order preparation time, decreasing the customer turnaround time, and ultimately improving customer service have also been key priority areas for the company.  

As the local partner, Burman Hospitality needs to send regular updates about Taco Bell India’s operations to the brand’s parent company, Yum Brands! Gathering and reporting data on an enterprise business with multiple sales channels is no easy task. Therefore, Burman Hospitality had been looking for a viable technology solution that could assimilate and integrate data from multiple sources in one place.

The one-stop seamless integration with ERP, BI tools and online ordering aggregators further helps in bringing the entire data to a single platform. 

That’s not all. POSist’s efficient order management mechanism also enables Taco Bell to pre-define combo-meal options thereby reducing the order-acceptance time by 6-7 seconds. The integration with KDS further allows the brand to identify delays, improve average order preparation time and enhance overall customer experience

Like any other restaurant business, wastage control and reducing food costs has also been a thing of worry for Taco Bell. POSist’s integrated stock & inventory management module solved all the inventory related issues for Taco Bell. The management can now view daily consumption and the total available inventory in real-time. This data allows them to forecast their stock requirements accurately, thereby reducing food wastage by a greater percentage.

Previously, data from the stock management tool was not available in real-time. It used to take one day to fetch the data. POSist shows the available stock in real-time and helps us in placing the order for raw materials.
