The IRC 2017 took place at JW Marriott Hotel, New Delhi on 28th-29th August. The sessions on both the days deliberated and discussed agendas such as Innovations taking place in the Restaurant Industry, how to introduce best of class service to impress and attract customers, the strategies to be adopted to rescue your brand from bad reviews, how to bring all restaurant operations to one easily accessible and user friendly dashboard, how to drive more footfall for the restaurant, how to create an effective human resource structure focused on good communication and management skills laying down your restaurant business foundation. Discussions also unraveled around the rising trends in the lounge and bars, the importance of understanding the science of menu engineering, recipe costing, how to do menu designing of your restaurant for high profitability, the emerging growth of bakery and breakfast business, How to use best logistic and technology to upgrade your restaurant’s production and others.

There were also individual awards given in the categories of Best Chef, Best Sous-Chef, National Restaurateur of the year, Youngest Restaurateur of the year, Best Bartender, Lifetime Achievement award among many others.
