Educational Qualifications: Graduation / Post graduation 

Experience: 7 + Years 

 

Job Summary: 

At Posist, as a QA Lead, you will primarily work on the team building and team handling as well as improve the overall quality of the work carried out. You will be responsible for taking the process ahead and putting in your inputs which will improve and add to the overall quality of work.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of 5 – 15 Engineers. 
  • Participate in the design process to understand, analyze and influence the application to be tested.
  • Review test cases and analyze the performance of the team.
  • Understand the business aspects and how the customers use the system and check if the software is working accordingly.
  • Leading test activities such as planning,designing,preparing and executing the test cases.
  • Promote a spirit of teamwork and collaboration amongst the team members.
  • Must have experience on web based and mobile applications.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state and local and organizational laws, regulations and policies.

Skills Checklist:

  • Hands on experience with Test Management Tool, Defect Tracking tool, Web & Mobile Technologies, STLC 
  • Rational Analysis & Logical Thinking 
  • Testing Techniques 
  • Test Planning & Documentation 
  • Good verbal and written communication skills 
  • Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment 
  • Have a high-level attention to detail 
  • Ability to work independently and to partner with others to promote an environment of teamwork
  • Knowledge on preparing Scenario Matrix and Query Registration.
  • Knowledge on Regression Testing, Integration Testing and Selenium.
  • Hire and train QA Staff in order to promote smooth and flexible functioning of the team.
  • Handle discipline and exit of the employees in coordination with the company policies.
